Rich in alginates, a natural gelling substance extracted from brown algae, this peel-off mask adapts perfectly to the contours of the face with a second skin effect that facilitates the diffusion of the active ingredients of its components. Edelweiss has soothing properties, helps combat free radicals, deeply nourishes the skin, strengthens the connective tissue and stimulates the formation of new cells. These properties are amplified by Vitamin C, whose antioxidant action helps prevent cellular aging, cell oxidation and collagen degeneration. The special tensor effect is ensured by a 100% natural mixture of sunflower and acacia gum.

The Edelweiss is a herbaceous plant that grows spontaneously up to over 3000 meters high in the Pyrenees, the Alps, the Ligurian Apennines and even in the mountains of the Himalayas.
It is a rare plant that, in order to survive in a hostile environment, characterized by very low temperatures and high levels of solar radiation, has developed special protection mechanisms, among which stands out a high level of antioxidants. Among these we find:

• Acido Clorogenico, which inhibits the formation of harmful free radicals and protects collagen fibres.
• Substances derived fromBisabolani, that counteract the ialuronidasis and have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity
• Fitosteroli and Sitosteroli, with anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activity.

The complex of active substances extracted from the meristematic cells present on the buds of Leontopodium alpinum represents a new class of active ingredients that goes beyond the limits of traditional plant extracts in terms of quality, safety and environmental sustainability. At the base, an eco-sustainable biotechnological process that does not involve genetic engineering and guarantees high-performance functional complexes, with a high and well-determined content of active substances and a superior safety profile for the total absence of preservatives and toxic substances such as heavy metals, herbicides, pesticides and other environmental pollutants.

The main benefits are: inhibition of the formation of harmful free radicals thanks to tannins combined with the chlorogenic acid of which it is composed, a substance generally present in apple seeds; anti-hyaluronidase and anti collagenase action. Hyaluronidase is the enzyme responsible for the degradation of hyaluronic acid, the deficiency of which is responsible for the decay of skin tone and the consequent appearance of blemishes and signs of aging; improvement of blood circulation: providing more oxygen to the tissues, blocks the formation of free radicals, with a powerful anti aging and protective action against sunlight thanks to the presence of antioxidants and substances belonging to the family of flavonoids; anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activity thanks to the presence of phytosterols and sitosterols; moisturizing and nourishing activity given by amino acids and polysaccharides.

How to use
Open the package. Pour 20 ml of water at room temperature on the powder. Mix quickly and vigorously with the spatula to form a uniform dough. Apply to the face avoiding the eye contour. Leave to work for 15 minutes. Remove the mask.
